Roycroft Renaissance Artisan Julie Leidel has been painting for more than 28 years, but it was only when she discovered the Arts & Crafts movement that she truly found her artistic voice. The Arts & Crafts style has been a muse on her shoulder for over 13 years, and her love story with this period-style artwork started with a home renovation in 2005. She fell in love with the architecture, furniture, pottery, and lighting that, when brought together, make a house a home. She is also inspired by the WPA national parks posters from the 1930-40s. Among her many accomplishments are the posters she designed for the National Arts and Crafts Conference at the Grove Park Inn and being the 2016 featured artist in American Bungalow. Her mediums are gouache on illustration board and acrylic on panel. She sells her original artwork as well as prints of most of her collection. Commission paintings available.
