The shop is on the fringe of Wilmington’s largest Bungalow neighborhoods. Many of Robert’s customers and friends are just walking distance from his one man, one dog shop. Clinker Press is a private letterpress studio and I am interested in printing material relating to the art of printing as well as the Arts and Crafts Movement. Within this focus I print subjects relating to art and literature. Clinker Press is a full letterpress shop with cold and hot metal type (Ludlow and Intertype), hand presses, cylinder presses (one Kluge and one Miehle Vertical press). I am equipped with photopolymer capabilities for illustration but magnesium plates are made elsewhere. All books are printed letterpress and are of very limited editions.

Treadway, from its beginning, was the first auction house to not only specialize in the 20th century design movement, but to also guarantee the objects the sold. Today they continue that tradition of providing outstanding customer service and record-setting results.

We have been prominent dealers (and passionate collectors) of Arts and Crafts Antiques for over 25 years. Although Arts and Crafts reproduction furniture had been available for several years, many of our clients had difficulty finding pieces comparable to their antiques in materials, construction, and finishes. Our success in helping our clients complete their environments, coupled with the diminishing supply and escalating prices for many desirable forms, led to the expansion of our line of reproductions- furniture. We welcome custom orders and invite you to be a part of the creative process. We also make sofa beds in queen and king sizes, many styles of dining tables, computer and lamp tables, stereo and entertainment centers, china cabinets, bookcases, nightstands, billiards chairs, and other styles of settles.
