Broad-Axe Flooring offers eastern white pine planks. White Pine is warm and resilient underfoot. It has been used for wide pine and plank flooring in New England homes since the early days of settlement. The traditional method of laying the wood floor is face-nailing. The work goes quickly, requiring only a fraction of the time involved in toe-nailing narrow strip hardwood flooring. Sanding is generally unnecessary as the planing is of a high standard. We have flooring always in stock and we can ship whenever you specify. For sales, contact us directly by phone or email.

The color variations and the wear from years of weather and use from old carriages and vintage automobiles has created an exceptional patina that newly manufactured products cannot match. Our team has carefully salvaged each one of our products and we are proud to be able to share a piece of history with you. At Stockyards Brick and Timber, we want to make sure that you leaving knowing you have the perfect piece for your project. All of our pieces are one of a kind reclaimed items that you will not find anywhere else. We look forward to making your dream project become a reality!
Our passion for old buildings and their unique characteristics has led us to preserve their history in all of our products. The naturally distressed antique flooring made from reclaimed wood cannot be replicated with new lumber. In addition to our beautiful antique flooring, we also stock a wide inventory of original architectural items.
Ward Clapboard Mill was established and operated by the Ward family and has served the needs of New Englanders and beyond for four generations. Since the nineteenth century, New Englanders discovered that vertical grain clapboards made a superior siding for their homes. Our mill in Vermont continues to manufacture quality logs into our famous Ward Radially sawn Clapboards with the same methods our workers used more than a hundred years ago. When it comes to the exterior of your home, nothing beats the look of beveled siding. Clapboard siding gives your house a classic yet unique look and helps to feature your home’s appeal. Ward Clapboard Mill has been making clapboard siding for more than four generations. We are a family owned and operated business that strives toward quality and excellence when it comes to siding a building.
