Touring Wright’s Taliesin West

The Darwin Martin House Restoration Corporation (MHRC) has organized an architectural study tour of Taliesin West and the Greater Phoenix area to celebrate the legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s 150th birthday from November 2-6.

Attendees will enjoy guided visits of the First Christian Church, the Harold Price, Sr. House, and the David and Gladys Wright House, as well as exclusive access to Wright’s beloved winter home and work space at Taliesin West (pictured here).

They will also explore Cosanti, the residence and studio of visionary architect Paolo Soleri, a former apprentice of Wright. In addition, attendees will experience the beauty of the Sonoran landscape at the Desert Botanical Garden. This trip will feature a taste of local cuisine, motor coach transportation through the scenic Valley of the Sun, and lodging for four nights, including an overnight stay at The Arizona Biltmore, a luxury resort with a Wright-influenced design.
