It has become a tradition.
Each year the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, the former home of Gustav Stickley in Morris Plains, New Jersey, has hosted a benefit banquet on Thursday night prior to the opening of the annual Arts & Crafts Conference and Antiques Show.
Attendees who arrive a day early for the Grove Park Inn conference have discovered that the Thursday night banquet is, in the words of one attendee, “a great way to see people you might never have the opportunity to meet, people you continue to see the rest of the weekend – and after.”
This year’s banquet will be held on February 18 at 6:00pm and will feature a lavish Grove Park Inn dinner, along with brief remarks from Heather Stivison, executive director of the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, conference director Bruce Johnson and others. Afterwards guests will enjoy aunique opportunity to play the Arts & Crafts version of “Guess That Movie.”
During the lively and fun movie presentation, participants will win prizes when they correctly identify images from movies that use Arts & Crafts architecture and décor to tell their story.
