It has become a tradition.
Each year the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, the formerhome of Gustav Stickley in Morris Plains, New Jersey, has hosted a benefitbanquet on Thursday night prior to the opening of the annual Arts & CraftsConference and Antiques Show.
Attendees who arrive a day early for the Grove Park Innconference have discovered that the Thursday night banquet is, in the words ofone attendee, “a great way to see people you might never have the opportunityto meet, people you continue to see the rest of the weekend – and after.”
This year’s banquet will be held on February 18 at 6:00pmand will feature a lavish Grove Park Inn dinner, along with brief remarks fromHeather Stivison, executive director of the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms,conference director Bruce Johnson and others. Afterwards guests will enjoy aunique opportunity to play the Arts & Crafts version of “Guess That Movie.”
During the lively and fun movie presentation, participantswill win prizes when they correctly identify images from movies that use Arts& Crafts architecture and décor to tell their story.
