Sixth Annual Arts & Crafts Show Returns To Chicago


The 6th Annual Arts and Crafts Chicago Show and Sale will be back at Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois, on Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May 15th. Focusing on mission furniture and accessories of the American Arts and Crafts Movement, this show will truly be one you won’t want to miss. This special event has proven to be one of the premiere antique and contemporary shows in the Midwest.

The show will be held Saturday, May 14, from 9:00am until 5:00pm and on Sunday, May 15, from 10:00am until 4:00pm in the Geiseman Gym on the Concordia University Campus in River Forest.

This year's show promises to offer a wide variety of 20th century decorative arts including furniture, metalwork, pottery, textiles, art and lighting from Stickley, Limbert, Roycroft, Rookwood and many more. Over 40 of the nations leading dealers from all across the country will be on hand to answer questions and offer advise on how to decorate your home.

Not only is this an antique show, but the weekend will showcase the highest quality contemporary craftsfirms as well. Ephraim Faience Pottery, Door Pottery and Dard Hunter Studios will be in attendance, just to name a few.

Sixth Annual Arts & Crafts Show Returns To Chicago

With the success of the show over the last five years and with the rich tradition of bungalows, as well as the Prairie School heritage of Frank Lloyd Wright in River Forest and neighboring Oak Park, Chicago has proven to be a perfect fit for this specialized show.

There will be a drawing at the end of the Saturday session for a $100 gift certificate to be used with one of the exhibitors on Sunday. Sign up will only take place at the show.

Homeowners interested in educating themselves as to the appropriate furnishings for their turn of the century bungalows and craftsman style homes shouldn’t miss the 6th Annual Arts and Crafts Chicago Show and Sale, Admission is only $7 per person.
