Designed in 1907 as a summer cottage, this home has since evolved into a forty room house with a well-known collection of both American and European art and objects arranged in themes. Open to the public.

Among the extensive collection of artwork in the library are examples by Arts & Crafts printmaker Arthur Wesley Dow and other Arts & Crafts artists and photographers.

Cooper’s Cottage Lace offers the most distinctive selection of Arts and Crafts Madras Lace Curtains available for contemporary and historic interiors. They are designed by renowned artisans Dard Hunter, Yoshiko Yamamoto, Laura Wilder and Steve Bauer.

Although the farmhouse at Fairsted dates from 1810, Arts & Crafts landscape designer Frederick Law Olmsted designed the grounds, which have since been restored by the National Park Service.

Arts & Crafts printmaker Arthur Wesley Dow is the focus of the Heard House collection arranged by the Ipswich Historical Society. The Society’s collection includes more than one hundred works by Dow, several of which are typically on display.

Designed by Willard Sears for Isabella Stewart Gardner in 1902, Fenway Court was both her home and eventually a museum. Gardner’s collection includes numerous examples from the Arts & Crafts era as well as famous artworks from the period.

The museum’s collection often has on display works by several well-known Arts & Crafts firms including Dedham, Grueby and Marblehead potteries, as well as silver and furniture.
