Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio

In 1889, at the age of 21, Frank Lloyd Wright designed his first home. Influenced by the Shingle style on the exterior, the interior reveals Wright’s emerging interpretation of the Arts & Crafts style. He continued to remodel and expand it, including the addition of a studio in 1898. It is now owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. A must-see for any Arts & Crafts traveler in the Chicago area.
